I received this product in exchange for reviews but all opinions are my own. When my daughter started teething, she suddenly became the queen of drool. She had used other bibs but nothing compares to these cute bandanas! They are 100% organic cotton in the front and the back is polyester fleece that is super soft against her skin. We had a problem before with certain bibs scrunching up to her neck or her pulling at them because they were uncomfortable, but these are flexible and move with your baby without being too stiff. I love the cute designs that come with this 8 pack set. A lot of the colors are gender neutral and the bib is very kid friendly. There are snap buttons that adjust to grow with your baby instead of Velcro , which is good because baby's skin won't get irritated and hair won't get caught in the snaps. My favorite part of these bibs are how absorbent they are. I have yet to find another bib that comes close to these. The double layers help combat drool, spit up, and any messes that may occur. These are the perfect way to keep your baby dry in style. I highly recommend this product, especially for a baby shower gift.

clothing

First off, I would like to say that I truly don't understand why every baby pajama is not made with the inseam zipper. It is a NO-BRAINER. These pjs make diaper changing SO MUCH EASIER. My mom bought these for my sweet boy (I couldn't bring myself to, they are a bit pricey for me) and I am so glad she did! He wore these from 3 months to about 5 (they were 3-6 months, but he is a little chunky for them). These pjs are not only organic, but they are SUCH HIGH QUALITY. They are very well-made and warm. They even have the grippers on the feet. And though they are around $30 each, I plan on buying more for one reason: the inseam zipper. No more screaming because baby is cold, because you had to unzip the entire pj (there are two zippers, one to get them dressed that zips all the way down, diagonally, and the inseam zipper). No more nighttime confusions over buttons! If you can wrap your head around the $30 pricepoint, these pjs will be your new go-to. In fact, my husband went into a panic when I told him baby J outgrew his first set. (Don't worry, we bought more). :)

skin & bath

I received this product in exchange for reviews but all opinions are my own. I was lucky enough to be able to to review this set along with the Andy Pandy Diapers. They use all-natural ingredients that don’t irritate your baby’s skin and are all about keeping your baby away from harmful toxins and chemicals found in many brands. I used the Sweet Orange Shampoo/Body Wash (it also comes in Lavender and Unscented) and was surprised at how well it lathers up and became sudsy. My daughter loves bubbles during bath time so this was a nice bonus. The smell was pleasant and fresh but not too overpowering. It was light and clean with no artificial fragrances so it served its purpose. It didn’t leave any residue and left their skin feeling soft and smooth. After bath time was over, we used the Rosehip and Primrose Lotion, which is also made from all-natural ingredients that soothe and nourish your baby’s skin. I didn’t find the smell too enticing but the way it went onto their skin made up for it. It wasn’t greasy or too thick, and it acted as a moisturizer. These products are perfect for babies with skin sensitivities or allergies, and you can rest easy knowing only premium organic ingredients are going on your baby’s skin. This company is highly rated and the customer service is outstanding. The price is a little high but still comparable to other organic brands. So if you’re in the market for organic baby washes or lotions, definitely give them a try.

I received this product in exchange for reviews but all opinions are my own. This organic baby wash set is the perfect shower gift for parents. This company delivers on their promise to use no chemical preservatives and only 100% natural ingredients. I was a bit concerned that this might take away from the performance of the products, but I'm happy to say it was quite the opposite. My toddler inherited my fine hair that needs a good quality shampoo in order for her hair to not appear limp or oily. The Soft Citrus Shampoo/Body Wash cleaned her hair better than leading baby brands and smelled so fresh and pleasant. The aroma was light enough not to overwhelm the baby but strong enough to leave a "clean" smell afterwards. We followed with the Unscented Conditioner that wasn't too heavy and got the tangles out easily. Next, we completed our bath time routine with the Lavender Body Lotion that was so soothing and calming to my baby's delicate skin. This company is one to watch for, and it is no wonder they won the Eco Excellence Award in 2017 for Best Skin Care for Babies as all of the products we tried were top quality!

This ointment has saved my baby's skin. If you haven't checked out my blog on eczema, click here to read it..

In the blog post, I shared our struggle with Baby J's eczema. His skin was AWFUL. It was red and angry-looking. I tried everything (Aquaphor, Aveeno, Eucerin, Honest Company... you name it.) This was a last-ditch-effort purchase. But it worked. And it saved my sanity. I lather baby J in this ointment at least 3 times a day, usually more (his skin is extremely dry). If you are struggling with dry skin or eczema (you or your baby, really), try this! It has helped him exponentially!

COCONUT BABY cream- This stuff is GREAT! As you have read in my eczema blog post, we've struggled with baby J's skin. The only thing that has worked for him thus far is the Burt's Bees, but it is super goopy and he hates the feel of it after it is applied. This works just as well, if not better, and isn't so goopy afterward. It leaves his skin soft, but not wet. The only drawback is that we have to apply a few coats instead of one, but I will take that and a happy baby any day! I highly recommend for baby with eczema or cradle cap! (I also use on my eczema spots and it works like a charm!)

Okay, guys. This is my new favorite baby skin care brand. We've been sent countless natural products to review, specifically for baby J's eczema. THIS IS THE BEST for J. His little angry red skin loves it. I first tried the Pleni Naturals Berry + Olive Baby Balm on a rough eczema patch on his face as a spot treatment. Within an hour, the spot wasn't red. I applied again, and within a few more hours, the spot wasn't rough anymore. Whoa. Today, I bathed him in the Pleni Naturals Apple + Broccoli Hair & Body Wash. First of all, it smells DELICIOUS, lathers to a creamy consistency, and he smiled the whole bath. (He usually seems irritated with soaps of any kind.) After the bath, his skin wasn't red, and it wasn't dry. It was smooth! I am a believer. When I'm close to running out, these products will be my next purchase. If your baby has sensitive skin, or if you just like the idea of bathing them in all natural products, BUY THIS NOW!

I bought this on a whim one day while out shopping. I was familiar with this organic brand but I had never tried their products until now. First off, any baby product that is all-natural automatically scores points with me, and this brand is well received by many moms. After trying it on my babies, I can see why. The coconut smell made me feel like I was at the beach. It was such a sweet and tropical smell but not overpowering at all. It comes out onto your hand as a lightweight foam that my oldest daughter can easily pump herself. It doesn't feel greasy and definitely leaves you feeling fresh and clean. This is a perfect item for bath time that's gentle on baby's skin without sacrificing that clean, fresh feeling.

I received these products in exchange for a review, but all opinions are my own.

If you have ever had a baby with eczema, you know how frustrating it can be. This product line provides some relief from the frustration and the eczema.

I'll start with the sweet baby eczema cream. This cream is fragrance, gluten, and paraben free, and includes healing properties such as aloe juice, safflower oil, grapeseed oil, and shea & cocoa butter (all organic ingredients). The cream isn't nearly as gooey as a lot of the other eczema creams we have tried. In fact, baby boy doesn't whine and scream when I put this on his troubled spots. It leaves his skin smooth, and I've found that it works as a protectant against teething rash around his mouth.

Next, is the diaper rash relief. Most of the diaper rash products are pastes, which I find frustrating. They are gross and goopy, they get all over everything (including under your nails), and I can't imagine that it's super comfortable for baby to have it all up in his/her tush. This product is not a paste. It is labeled as a serum, and has an oil feel. And it works! We haven't had any bouts of bad diaper rash since baby J was a wee little one, but he occasionally has a little irritation, especially since starting solids. This nips it in the bud before it can get bad. It's great!

Soothing bath & body wash- This stuff is great! It is fragrance free, so for all you moms who like your babies to smell like fruit or roses.. this one isn't for you. But for those of you who use nothing fragranced because baby's skin is so sensitive, this one is great. It is smooth and seems to help with itching from eczema and other skin irritation. (We bathed baby J in this after having a reaction to a new food. He was itchy and this seemed to calm it down!)

Bubble Podz- These are not only cool... they help baby's skin. It's a 2-for-1! The pods can be thrown into a bath and they sud up a little bit. If you put in two, you've got a real bubble bath! I use these for eczema flare-ups and it seems to really help his skin calm down from the angry, itchy, redness that it is. I've also found it great for bug bites! If your little one happens to get bitten by a couple of mosquitoes, have him sit in the bath with a couple of pods for about 15 minutes. He'll think it's play time, and it will distract him long enough for the healing properties to kick in! (The label also said it works for poison ivy and sumac!)

If you have a baby or child with eczema, I really would recommend the entire line. But if you have a child who is adventurous and likes to play in the woods.. I would at least recommend the bubble podz to keep on hand for bites or rashes. It is a last-minute life saver!

I have received this product in exchange for a review, but all opinions are my own. Though it is marketed as a diaper rash cream, I would think it is more suitable for an all-in-one cream! It is all natural, and I have literally used it for most any skin issues my baby boy has had. After receiving it, we were outside swinging and he was bitten by two or three mosquitoes. I remembered seeing that this was one of the uses, so I dabbed the cream on all of his bites. Almost immediately, he stopped scratching at them, and within an hour, the swelling went down. I also used it for a small bout of diaper rash, and it worked just as well as Triple Paste, but with all natural ingredients. I’m a believer!

Baby Bum 5 Piece Gift Set

I received this product in exchange for a review but all opinions are my own. I was fairly familiar with the brand Baby Bum from seeing it on frequent Target runs but never tried it until now. Let me just say that I was missing out! This stuff smells AMAZING...imagine a light coconut beachy smell that is not too potent or overpowering, but strong enough to linger and make your baby’s skin smell delicious. The shampoo and body wash combo is in liquid foam form making it easy to pump out the right amount. I prefer this method because regular bottles get too messy and can come out too quickly. I was impressed by how clean my daughter’s hair was after washing along with how soft it felt. It was so gentle on my baby and toddler and is perfect for sensitive skin, especially kids with eczema. The lotion smelled equally as good and was used after bath time for cuddles. It was very moisturizing without feeling greasy and left my girls’ skin feeling very soft. The coconut balm is derived from monoi oil, which is known for its re-hydrating and softening qualities. (This is found in many great shampoos on Ulta and Amazon!). I have actually started using this as well because it smells so good and leaves my skin feeling refreshed! It’s also very gentle on my baby’s skin, and is great for cold, dry weather. However, just know that a little goes a long way. My favorite product is this set is the hand sanitizer. (That’s the germaphobic In me). It’s so portable and perfect for tossing in the diaper bag or for traveling. It kills 99.9% of germs and is also antibacterial, which is exactly what any mom needs to keep little hands clean. I love the beachy smell and how fast it dries as well. This is a great thing to keep on hand when having visitors around your baby (especially newborns) to ward off potential germs. The sunscreen is a nice consistency without caking up or being too thick. I have oily skin and it does not seem to irritate it at all or make me break out if I use it on my face, so I will continue to use this. Lastly, Duke the monkey was a huge hit with the girls, and they look forward to bath time with him every night now. I want to drive home that this brand is also vegan,  cruelty-free, and hypoallergenic. They are a new favorite in my home!

California Baby

I received these products in exchange for reviews but all opinions are my own. I was so excited to try California Baby products as I’ve heard and read rave reviews since my oldest was born. They definitely didn’t disappoint me!   I want to highlight that California Baby is woman-owned and operated. This is amazing because who knows more about babies than women and mommies?! They use only the best organic ingredients in all of their products, and if the ingredients don’t meet their high standards, they will make/grow the ingredients themselves. This shows how passionate they are about their products and the  high quality service they deliver for families. You can also rest easy about buying from this company as all of their products are cruelty free, gluten, oat, soy, dairy and nut free. Also, they have the cutest, kid-friendly designs on all of their products and are visually appealing. The only downside to this brand is that they can be pricey. However, you get what you pay for and you can save money by buying in bulk. They certainly won me over, and I will be continuing to purchase from them in the future. Here are some reviews of the products they sent over. Make sure to check out their website below for all of their products.

Body Wash

The Calming Shampoo and Body Wash consisted of lavender and sage essential oils that gave off a light scent that wasn’t overpowering but still left my girls’ skin feeling soft and smelling great. If your little one has skin sensitivities, this product works wonders thanks to its quality organic ingredients and overall gentle feel. The cool thing about this company is that you can buy most of their products (including this) in bulk sizes such as half gallon and gallon sizes that make perfect baby shower gifts!

Bubble Bath

The Eucalyptus Ease Bubble Bath is a huge favorite in our home. It’s comprised of an organic soap bark to make for plenty of foamy bubbles and a eucalyptus essential oil used for relaxation. The smell is absolutely invigorating with the eucalyptus and Douglas fir scent. It truly smells like your favorite Christmas tree in the bath tub!  I was curious how many bubbles this would actually make, but to my surprise, this had just as many if not more bubbles than some of the leading bubble bath products we typically use. This is also just a great product for mom to use without the kids :)

Calendula Cream

The Calendula Cream is made up of the skin-soothing calendula flower which is grown on their own organic farm in Santa Barbara. It also contains aloe vera and other plant-based ingredients that are great for sensitive skin and eczema. The scent is light and similar to the shampoo and body wash with a slight floral smell due to the calendula, which I found appealing. I put this on my baby after dirty diapers or bath time to help moisturize her skin and prevent diaper rash, and she loves it.

Calendula Lotion

The Calendula Everyday Lotion is a nice product to incorporate into your bedtime routine. Its relaxing ingredients include the lavender, sage, and calendula and leave my baby’s skin feeling soft and never greasy. The light scent is calming and aromatic without being overwhelming to my baby. She loves her massage with this lotion! Also, if this scent isn’t your cup of tea, they have a variety of other lotions to choose from so you’re guaranteed to find something that works for you and your family.

health

I received this product in exchange for reviews but all opinions are my own.  I would like to start by saying I hate taking medicine and especially sticking something up my nose, so I couldn't imagine doing that to my child unless I absolutely had to. However, spring time in the south means the pollen fairy dumps her pollen dust all over the place causing everyone's allergies including the babies' to act up. This handy little nasal spray is a lifesaver. Not only is it all-natural and free from any type of medicine, it is gentle enough to use on your baby. It works like a typical nose spray that shoots up your nostril, but instead of a salty taste or an unpleasant feeling, you are greeted with a eucalyptus and grapefruit combination with a tingling sensation. This will get your sinuses to drain and get the irritants out fast. My toddler has used this successfully along with my husband so it's great for the entire family. My favorite part is that because of it's all-natural ingredients, it is safe to use during pregnancy too. (*Please consult with your doctor before giving your baby this product and before use during pregnancy.) Also, be sure to check out their other nasal spray for adults with menthol called Clear Revive that is on the Amazon Choice list!

I received this product in exchange for reviews but all opinions are my own.  Searching for the right sunscreen for your baby is no easy task with so many options out there. Personally, I like to try to stay as organic as possible when it comes to my little ones, so I was excited to try this product out on our beach trip. First of all, I appreciated the fact that it came in a jar. I find spray cans don’t work well (especially with any type of wind) and bottles can get very messy. I liked that I could control how much I got out and used with little to no mess. Second, this product does not smell like your typical sunscreen. It had a sweet scent that was pleasant but not overpowering for the babies, and I loved it. Lastly, my babies did not get burned one time while using this product so it actually works when applied as directed (and it’s even water and sweat resistant for up to 80 minutes). The ingredients were completely organic, and Butterbean Original Sunscreen has the highest percentage of Certified Organic and Fair Trade coconut oil and shea butter making it the perfect option for those wanting to stay away from toxins or those with skin sensitivities. The product doesn’t feel greasy or too thick, and it goes in very evenly and smoothly making it a winner for parents with young children. It’s priced right, offers great protection from the sun, and even biodegradable and eco-friendly. I highly recommend trying this one out!

bedding

I received this product in exchange for reviews but all opinions are my own. Think about how long your baby (especially a newborn) spends asleep during their first year. From countless naps to hopefully peaceful nighttime slumbers, your baby’s crib mattress is a huge part of their life. NaturalMat takes the concept of quality, craftsmanship, and comfort to the next level. This is what I would call a luxury mattress, as it has been a NaturalMat award winner in the USA and the UK. They are the only truly organic crib mattress out there, as other organic brands I’ve researched are not actually totally organic! The Coco Mat is made of natural coir (coconut fibers), lambswool (natural flame retardant), and organic cotton. The combination of these products create a breathable mattress that regulates body temperature and circulates air flow while ensuring a safe place for your baby to sleep without any weird chemicals or toxins. The top layer is quilted and soft and feels very comfortable. It has the perfect amount of firmness for a newborn while also creating a comfortable sleep environment. Also, rest assured that this is not some mattress made in China somewhere. Each mattress is made by hand in a coastal England town using only organic products including local lambswool. Not only is their mattress the cream of the crop, their organic sheets, comforter, and waterproof sheet protector are also amazing. They are all so soft and breathable and easy to clean. When I laid my baby down on them for the first time, she smiled and seemed so content...happy baby, happy mommy! If you want the entire collection, be sure to get the organic crib bumpers and pillow/pillowcase too.  And for those times on the go or if you just want a comfortable mat for your baby to play on, make sure you buy the travel mat. My girls LOVE this and it’s much thicker than a regular play mat. As you can tell, I’m a huge fan of this brand and rightfully so. Their products are all high quality and the level of craftsmanship that goes into making these mattresses is inspiring. It is no wonder these mattresses are a favorite among celebrities! So if you can afford to spend a little extra on a better mattress that is much healthier for your baby, do yourself and your baby a favor and buy this. You won’t regret it!!!
