I didn't know what to expect with my first baby when it came to nursing as I was new to the game, but this pillow helped tremendously in those first few weeks. My baby was very small and this pillow helped her find a position without slipping into a gap. It also helped relieve my postpartum back pain. It provides lumbar support and the foam padding doesn't weigh you down. It clips around your waist so if you are good at multi-tasking you can even use while walking around without having to try and get baby back into position. Some things I dislike about this pillow are that there are little humps on it that are for supporting your baby's head which I didn't care for, and the pillow itself is very firm. This can be a good thing for a newborn that needs the support and help with positioning but as baby gets older they would probably prefer something softer like the Boppy. It's also not waterproof but can be washed when baby spits up. My only problem is the fading of the design after several washes. My favorite things about this pillow are that it has a little pocket to hold pacifiers or drops with an elastic surrounding so it won't fall out. It is also very adjustable with the clip attachment around the waist. This is great for mothers who have had a c-section that need to avoid touching their incision. There are also multiple cute designs that you can get for the slipcover that are pretty easy to take on and off. Overall, in the newborn stage or with mothers who have had a c-section, I would recommend this pillow. However, once your baby is a few months old, the Boppy pillow would be the softer and more comfortable option for your baby since you're probably a nursing champion at this point.
This pillow should be called "Boppy Everything Pillow." I first registered for this pillow because I was hoping to breastfeed. I have used it for every single breastfeed (even when I'm away from home). it props baby up just right, saving your arms from the strain of holding him up. He has napped in my lap, propped up by this pillow every day since he was born. This pillow is on my MUST HAVE list for new moms.
Pros: Removable covers for easy machine wash; Cute, trendy covers can be bought on Amazon and Etsy; Super handy for propping baby
This system is amazing. Especially for working moms who still want to feed breastmilk. May be TMI, but I had an oversupply of breastmilk. This meant that for the first 4 months I had to pump every hour or so, or I was in extreme pain and filling breast pads by the half hour. I would pump a 6 oz bottle in about 7 minutes! (Some say lucky... which I am. I'm thankful for the fact that I can breastfeed at all. But it was so painful and difficult to cope with any time I left the house) For this reason, I needed an easy way to store my milk, since I was pumping even at the dead of night. (If baby J didn't wake for a feeding, I had to come pump, so that I didn't blow up!) This system is the BEE'S KNEES.
The kit comes with an adapter for pretty much any pump (mine was Medela that was free through insurance). It comes with a set of the plastic (BPA free) storage bags (freezer safe). A storage rack for the bags, a bottle (which is a handy plastic piece that slides over the bags, and two slow-flow nipples. My baby took to the nipple immediately. Here are my pros and cons:
Pros: Baby took to nipple immediately. Nipple is shaped much like breast and is slow-flow (doesn't drip out... baby has to suck out milk like a real nipple); Colic and gas proof- the bag collapses as baby eats, eliminating air; EASY as pie. Pump in to bag, store bag in freezer, warm in bottle warmer. (See the Kiinde Warmer); Easy to clean- only clean the nipple. The bags are disposable and bottle just needs to be wiped down unless it gets dirty.
Cons: Bags are disposable, so you do have to keep purchasing them. Though they are BPA free, the bags are plastic, which isn't great for the environment.
Overall, I would highly recommend this system to moms with an overproduction of milk or moms who plan on working and pumping!
These storage bags are a great addition to the Lansinoh Bottle and Breast Pump collection. These are the top-rated breast milk storage bags on Amazon for a reason. They are perfect for moms that need to pump due to oversupply, moms going back to work, or moms that need to feed their preemies in the NICU. They generously hold 10 ounces even after expanding in the freezer and have a double zipper deal to lock in your liquid gold. The pour spout is easy to use and perfect for making sure nothing ends up on the floor and wasted. You can keep track of the expiration date by keeping a log on the bag with all of the information which comes in handy. They also thaw easily in a cup of hot water and don't take up much room in the freezer. My only issue (which seemed to be universal) was that they tended to leak which was very annoying. HOWEVER, Lansinoh listened to it's customers and fixed this issue with their new bags and I couldn't be happier!
Lansinoh Signature Pro Double Electric Breast Pump
Note to mothers: As of 2014, all insurance companies are required to provide you with a free pump so make sure you check that out. I chose this one and couldn't be happier. There are multiple settings for suctions and speeds that you can pump on that are all comfortable. The suction is good and not at all painful. The design is pretty and easy to tote around. It has a timer which is great for knowing how long you've pumped. It's very easy to clean and doesn't get mold very easily. It's also very quiet so if baby is asleep near you, it won't wake him/her. The best feature is that the bottles you pump from are the same as the Lansinoh bottles so the nipple attaches right on. This was a huge plus so you don't have to transfer to another bottle after pumping. The Lansinoh nipple resembles a breast so baby will take to it easier. (My child hated every bottle except this one.) I also received a Medela from the hospital but this one is by far the best. It's convenient, efficient, and expresses milk quickly. It's also affordable at $86.99 if you don't have insurance. Do yourself a favor and get this pump!
I received this product in exchange for reviews but all opinions are my own. This organizer is so essential for nursing mothers because it saves you time and it keeps all of your breastmilk bags in order of pump date so you’re not left hunting for them. The 25 bags it come with are meant to be thin and lie flat to preserve the nutrients in your milk best. Because of this, they only hold about 5 oz so they don’t hold as much as other storage bags. I love these bags for multiple reasons. First, you can easily write your date and the total ounces on them with plenty of room. Second, I LOVE that these have a double zipper closure unlike other bags; plus they are very durable. This prevents unnecessary spills and leaks to protect your precious liquid gold. Lastly, these bags thaw my milk quickly which is so important for my baby when she gets hungry! Since it does thaw so quickly, it keeps bacterial growth to a minimum so my baby’s health is the top priority. Overall, the bags are awesome for moms that are looking for the best way to preserve their milk, and the organizer is great for keeping up with dates and is a total space saver. I would highly recommend this system and it’s totally affordable!
Raised Real is a baby food subscription service. Each box has 20 meals containing organically-sourced ingredients. They are flash-frozen, and pre portioned. To cook them, you pop them in the microwave or on the stove with a little bit of water. Baby J is almost 8 months old, and I have been trying to introduce him to a variety of foods, hoping he won't be a picky child. He's had a good deal of foods, from carrots and parsnips to white and sweet potatoes. He loves all fruits, but mostly banana. That being said, here are my thoughts on Raised Real:
This subscription service would be great for babies who are a little older and are ready for more variety. Baby J didn't really take to the tastes, and I think was put off by the textures of a few of the meals. The basil in one meal seemed to be what he wasn't loving (he had had the rest of the ingredients and likes them all). He also didn't like the texture of the pureed strawberries (the seeds made it a little gritty). The one meal he did enjoy was the coconut milk with sweet potatoes and mango. Another drawback for the little babes is that the meals (though they are flash frozen and not yet pureed) are mixed together already, so if you were going to go by the wait rule (give baby a new food, wait a few days to make sure there isn't a reaction) this wouldn't work.
If your baby isn't at all picky or you have an established eater who needs some variety, this is your meal plan. However, it will come at a price. Each meal is $4.75, making it $95 every 2 weeks.
I received this product in exchange for review, but all opinions are my own. This is a unique baby food. It's prepared in a special way (cold & pressure) that locks in nutrients that many other baby foods lose in the heating process for packaging. All ingredients are also USDA Certified Organic, which is also great! It is also super easy to prepare. Just pour contents in a bowl, add a bit of breast milk, formula, or water, let it sit, then stir and serve. Our experience was with Oats & Berries. It is nice because you can actually see the oats, unlike with the pouches. Baby J also liked the texture better than the regular puree. He loved the taste, as well. He ate it all in one sitting, which is rare because he loves to nurse so much. A box of five pouches is $10.99, or you can subscribe and save and pay $8.79 per box. With organic pouches being around $2.00 each, this is a great deal. And you're likely getting more nutrients!
I received this product in exchange for reviews but all opinions are my own. Like most toddlers, my little girl is experimenting with new foods and being extremely picky in the process. I sometimes worry that she’s not getting enough food with nutritious value and wanted to try this subscription meal plan to see how she would do. To start, this company uses a combination of chefs and pediatric dietitians to create delicious and healthy meals geared for your toddler (they also have baby and big kid plans as well) that use mostly organic and locally sourced ingredients. They are also very careful to avoid using the most common food allergens along with preparing their food in state-of-the-art facilities to prevent cross-contamination. They label all of their foods with dates to be eaten by along with which meals are dairy free, soy free, vegan, and egg free. The meals all come delivered in sealed containers on ice that make them fresh when you get them and are also microwaveable. They are perfectly portioned for little toddlers and are easy to fix in under 2 minutes. A week’s worth of meals for 5 days with one meal per day ends up being $47 or 2 meals a day at $89 plus $6 shipping. Prices vary based on the age range and meal plan but they are all customizable and you can add or subtract meals each week. You can also skip weeks which is nice and convenient. The meals we chose were Mac and Cheese with Cauliflower, Teriyaki Salmon with brown rice, Chicken bites with yams and green beans, Peas and Cheese Tortellini, and Turkey Stroganoff with polenta. I will start by saying these meals were fresh, looked appealing, and were all very healthy and nutritious. Some were even geared towards PICKY EATERS! However, with that being said, MY picky eater wasn’t budging. She sampled these meals more than anything and found them to be a bit too interesting when it came to flavors. The Mac and Cheese was by far her favorite but she still didn’t eat half of it. I love how convenient and easy these meals were and how little time they took to cook. I also love how I didn’t have to worry about what my toddler was going to eat for lunch that week (especially when you have a baby and NO free time to plan). The nutrition was definitely there, and I only wish my toddler would have given them a try. My only negatives are the prices are somewhat unaffordable for most people at over $9 per meal, and the meals can be somewhat quirky and different for toddlers in general, much less picky eaters. Also, to cancel you have to email or call which I didn’t like. (They got back to me right away though). Overall, if you can afford this little luxury for your children and they are adventurous eaters, this might be the plan for you!
I received this product in exchange for reviews but all opinions are my own. This company is a breath of fresh air for those who wish they could make their own baby food but don’t have the time. Their are some key differences between Serenity Kids Organic baby food and other organic baby foods though. First of all, their food sources come from grass-fed and pastured animals raised on American farms along with organic vegetables. This means no hormones, antibiotics, fillers or preservatives at all! Second, they follow a Paleo recipe filling each pouch with a perfect ratio of carbs, proteins and fats to help babies’ brains grow and thrive. I love the easy pouches that are perfect for tossing in the diaper bag on the go and far less messy than jars and containers. They also have an amazing shelf life of a year! Another thing I love is that they don’t pack their food with a ton of sugar like most puréed baby food on the market. They believe in high fat, low sugar intake to help baby develop. I wasn’t too sure if my little one would take to it since she’s so accustomed to the puréed fruits and veggies but she eventually grew to like it. The free range chicken with peas and carrots is scrumptious, and you don’t even miss the flavor or sweetness of the packed sugars. The grass-fed beef with kale and sweet potatoes was her favorite and had a unique flavor that was unlike any other food she has tasted. Also, watch out for the Uncured Bacon pouch coming later in the year as I’m sure that one will taste amazing! This brand has become a healthy staple in her diet and I can relax knowing there are zero allergens, no gluten, dairy, eggs or nuts in these pouches. These are the perfect option for delivering a healthy and filling meal full of substance to your little one that you may not get from a regular jar of baby food.
This high chair has it all! It has a nice sturdy and heavy frame which I like because my toddler likes to climb on everything. It is a bit bulky and takes up a good bit of space so take that into consideration because it does not fold up. It is on wheels that easily move over carpet and hardwood floors. The seat can be used in multiple ways to grow with your child, including a booster seat. It has 6 height adjustments and 3 reclining positions with an adjustable footrest to make feeding time perfectly comfortable for baby. There are also 3 removable trays that are very easy to clean and wipe down. All of the fabric can be removed to wash which is a HUGE bonus! My favorite part is that I can use both seats with both of my babies at the same time. My toddler can sit in the booster seat while my baby can sit in the high chair. This is worth the money so put this one on your registry!!!
This is a high chair without the bells and whistles, but it is one that gets the job done! The cloud print is really cute. There is a huge storage net underneath (I keep our bibs in it). It folds to a very slim footprint (I guess hence the name). It has a reclining feature, a removable tray with cup holder and a 5 point harness. It is also about half the price of the 6-in-1, so if you're looking for an economical option or one that is slim, buy this high chair!
I received this product in exchange for reviews but all opinions are my own. These tiny cups are so cute and the perfect size for little hands! They come in many different colors and are about the size of a shot glass. They hold 1.7 fl oz and are recommended to be used until age three. They are plastic but BPA-free, and they are dishwasher and sterilizer safe for easy cleaning. These are great transition cups after the bottle or sippy cup because they are easy for your child to grasp, and they are less likely to spill since it’s designed for little mouths! The benefits about these cups are that they don’t harbor germs because there aren’t any spouts or seals to clean, they’re translucent so you can see how much your child is actually drinking, and it is backed and recommended by dentists and orthodontists to prevent tooth decay and poor jaw development from constant sucking from sippy cups with straws, valves, and spouts. The directions say ages 4 months and up (or as baby is starting solids and/or weaning). However, I would recommend around 6 months and up, or when your child can sit up with little support and is grasping things easily. The only negative about this product is that you can only use cold liquid in the cups, as it is not made to be used with heat. I would highly recommend this cup for transitioning, and these cups are also an Amazon’s Choice!
I received this product in exchange for reviews but all opinions are my own. Life with a toddler can get interesting and very MESSY, so whenever I see a product that helps prevent spills and extra cleanups— I’M GAME. This genius product is simple in that is compromised of a silicone lid and straw that allows for most standard cups to turn into an instant sippy or straw cup! No more going to restaurants worrying about regular foam kid cups being knocked over or panicking because you left the bottle/sippy cup at home. This works like a charm and comes in vibrant colors that my toddler loves. Not only are they pretty, they are resilient to a fault, as my little one has knocked it over many times and it has never once leaked! She feels a sense of pride drinking out of a big girl cup that also allows for independence without the mess or stress. At such an affordable price, get yourself a few sets to keep on hand at home, in the diaper bag, and grandma’s house!
I received this product in exchange for reviews but all opinions are my own. Mealtime is an important step in your child’s developmental milestones, and one that comes with lots of curiosity and discovery. My babies tend to like most of their baby food heated along with their infant cereal. Maybe it was because they were so accustomed to nursing or maybe they just thought the food tasted better warm (who wants to eat cold food???)...either way, I’m willing to do whatever it takes to keep my girls interested in trying new foods. This warming plate is AWESOME! It simply has a chamber that you pour hot (not boiling) water in that keeps your baby’s food at room temperature through mealtime. Once you’ve poured the hot water in, just close the safety cap and you’re done. All you have to do is preheat the food and serve on the bowl without having to worry about reheating the food over and over or having your baby become uninterested since the food has gotten cold. The cap is hard to get open so little hands won’t get burnt, and the bottom has a suction base made of silicone to keep the bowl in place preventing messes. It’s made up of environmentally friendly materials and is free of BPA, Phthalates, and PVC so you know you’re getting something non-toxic for your baby. It also has three separate compartments for different foods, which is great for toddlers. It’s also very easy to clean. I do, however, wish there was a way to open up the bowl and wash it to see the inside, but that would be my only negative. This is a great find for parents of babies just starting solids or toddlers that are gaining independence!
I received this product in exchange for reviews but all opinions are my own. How many times have you been feeding your child in the high chair only to discover a mess on the floor beneath them where food has splattered, spilled, or been thrown?? It happens to the best of us and it can make meal time even more of a hassle. I wish I had known about this product with my first daughter because these floor toppers are so awesome!!! They’re plastic vinyl and are similar to a plastic birthday tablecloth. They are 36”x 36” mats that are washable and reusable and easily disposable when they get too dirty. This is great because you don’t have to waste money throwing them away after every use. They fit perfect under our high chair and also work great anywhere around the house. Sometimes my toddler even likes to sit on it whiles she’s eating a snack and watching tv! They literally catch the entire mess making cleanup a breeze!! My favorite things about them are they are BPA and PVC free making them safe for your baby, and they come in cute Disney, Dora the Explorer, and Sesame Street designs that are appealing to all babies and toddlers. (My daughter is obsessed with Mickey and LOVES this). They are perfect for traveling because they are so easy to keep in the diaper bag and grandma, the waitress, and the hotel housekeeper will thank you for saving them a huge cleanup :) We have also used these for arts and crafts so they have many uses. The only negatives I could think to write is that they only come in a 5 count, so if you use them often, they could run out quickly. (Since you can wash them, this hasn’t been an issue for us). Also, they are sturdy but the material is still thin and slippery, so be careful if you have little ones running around. Something else to take into consideration is that they DO NOT stick to the floor. They simply cover the area and catch the crumbs and messes! Every parent needs this product to save them from endless messes and spills around the high chair, so do yourself a favor and buy this!
I received this product in exchange for reviews but all opinions are my own. This is the perfect product to transition your toddler from the sippy cup to a regular cup. It holds 6 oz of your child's favorite pulp-free beverage and is safe from any toxic chemicals AND made in the USA! The cup comes in several different colors which is nice and it is dishwasher safe and easy to clean. The best part is...no taking apart germy sippy cup lids that harbor mold and mildew and are time consuming to clean. The cup has an insert that you push down that enables your toddler to slowly drink at all angles without making a total mess. The insert turns and pops into place to lock in most of the liquid and prevent it from escaping. This has helped her establish independence and gain confidence to transition to her big girl cups. My daughter took to this cup immediately and I'm impressed with how easy it is for her to grasp and drink from without a straw. Also, they are durable so far and haven't broken even after being dropped on the floor a few times. I need to make it a point to say that these ARE NOT spillproof!!! They simply eliminate the huge mess if your toddler does knock it over or it falls by only allowing a small amount of liquid out at one time. My toddler has taken to this cup wonderfully and she feels like such a big girl using it. The price is a little high for me considering the look of the plastic appears cheap and somewhat thin. However, if you can get over the price point, you will see that this is a really great transition cup for your baby and a wonderful toddler product.
I received this product in exchange for a review, but all opinions are my own. This is one of my favorite products! This silicone "plate" is the best thing since sliced bread! It sticks perfectly to a high chair or table. It comes in a variety of colors and animal designs, and it is literally the coolest plate out there. It encourages kids to "play with their food" and actually EAT! My little guy loves this mat, as I make his avocado "slide down the slide," and make the animal "eat" his food, too! It is BPA free, and encourages picky eaters or babies on hunger strike to actually eat. I wholeheartedly recommend this plate for any and every type of parent!
I received this product in exchange for a review, but all opinions are my own. This is such a handy little gadget. It is super functional for traveling, which is how I've been using it. Just load the baby food inside the cute spaceship-designed spoon, give it a squeeze, and you're set! I like to make the majority of my own baby food, and I have also gotten into the Amara food (see baby food section), as baby J is obsessed with it! This little spoon is handy for this, because they don't come in the pouches like the grocery-store brands. It comes in both pink and blue, so perfect for boys or girls. My only peeve with it is that it's a little hard to get the very last bite out (baby J never lets food go to waste), but it only takes a second to open it up and scoop it out with the spoon. I would definitely recommend this as an item for baby registries or gifts.
I received these products in exchange for reviews but all opinions are my own. How many times have you thrown your diaper bag together and rushed out of the house only to have left your baby’s bottle or sippy cup?? It’s happened to us all at some point in time. Thanks to a fellow mom inventor, those days of panic are now over because you can now turn almost any water or juice bottle and sports drink into baby bottles and sippy cups with these cool caps and nipple adaptors that pop right on. My toddler loves to drink out of the water bottle like me and feels so proud of herself that she has her own “big girl” water bottle like mommy. We have tried it on numerous water bottle brands and it fits each of them perfectly. It has a suction spill-proof seal at the opening so there’s no need to worry about messes and cleanup. It can, however, pop out due to pressure if your toddler squeezes too hard so just be aware of that. It comes in a variety of different colors for your child, and it’s easy to clean. Also, since it’s just a top, there’s no sippy cup with tons of sections or pieces to clean which saves you TIME! I love how easy it is to use and how convenient it is for traveling.Just toss it in your diaper bag and go! This is perfect for moms on the go and especially for formula fed babies in those times when you forget and need an emergency bottle! These are such a great price that you can afford to get more than one to keep on hand. Go buy this girls!
I received this product in exchange for reviews but all opinions are my own. These feeding bowls are perfect for mealtime for your little one. They are made of food-grade silicone and are free of BPA and Phthalates and come in multiple colors featuring different animals. They have a wide base with handles that are easy for my toddler to grip, meaning fewer accidents and messes for me to clean up! They are freezer and microwave safe and can be placed on the top rack in the dishwasher for easy cleaning. I love that they are steam sterilizer safe too so I know that they are being cleaned the safest way for my baby.
I received this product in exchange for a review, but all opinions are my own. This set is not only adorable, but very functional and high-quality. The bamboo material is super sturdy and solid, and seems like it will last a long time! The set comes with a plate, bowl, cup, spoon, and fork. The cute little zoo animal design just puts the cherry on top for me. This would be a great buy if your baby is starting finger foods, or for your toddler who likes farm animals. It would also be a great baby shower gift, as it is a gift set.
I received this product in exchange for reviews but all opinions are my own. My toddler is OBSESSED with this water bottle! She loves the kid-friendly and colorful designs and how easy it is for her to hold and grip with the big handles. Like all of their products, this water bottle is BPA and phthalate free and easy to clean. It has a lid that closes down and opens via a push button. It took a while for my daughter to figure the push button out but now she loves it. It has a pop-up straw that comes out when the button is pushed that is easy to sip from and made from food grade silicone. The BEST part about this water bottle is it is shatter-proof and spill-proof which has been proven true many times by being knocked over or dropped! I also love how this product promotes independence by helping my daughter feel like she’s drinking from her “big-girl” thermos with a straw and encouraging her to hold the bottle correctly making the transition to a regular cup much easier. This water bottle comes in five different designs and it’s perfect for either gender, so replace the sippy cup and buy your little one this instead!
I received this product in exchange for reviews but all opinions are my own. When it comes to toddlers, almost everything under the sun becomes a battle. They are learning so much at such a fast pace and are quick to want to establish their independence. I happen to have a picky eater on top of that, so meal time can be make or break in my house! I will try just about anything to get my child to eat and found this cool device made by a fellow mom entrepreneur. I have to say that I was skeptical if this would have any effect at all on my child’s eating habits, but I was pleasantly surprised when I noticed the results. My toddler loved that she was able to have more “control” over her food and thought she was using a “big girl” utensil to eat. It grips sandwiches and waffles with ease so they don’t fall apart in her tiny hands. It also helps her take better bites by focusing instead of picking at her food. The best part is that she is excited about eating when she is able to use this product. Anything that encourages a toddler and/or picky eater to eat and try new things is a winner in my book!
I received this product in exchange for a review, but all opinions are my own. This is a neat little sippy cup! I’m trying to teach my one-year-old how to use a straw, so I thought this would be a great start. The straw is weighted at the bottom, which keeps the baby from pulling the straw out, which I really like. It’s also very well-sealed, so no dripping or leaking. I hate when sippy cups leak all over everything! It also has great handles on either side, so he can easily grip and hold. He hasn’t quite figured out the straw, but he’s getting there. If you’re looking for a well-made sippy cup with a straw, look no further!
I received this product in exchange for a review, but all opinions are my own. One thing we pride ourselves on with our blog is only reviewing products that we feel will be high-quality. This collection exceeded our expectations! The company's mission is an added bonus- these products are made from recycled milk jugs, and are manufactured and distributed in the US, meaning we lessen our carbon footprint. Sturdy, functional, and sustainable!
This collection is the bee's knees- it includes six divided plates, six regular plates, six 12 oz bowls, six No-spill sippy cups, six 10 oz drinking cups, six snack pods with six lids, and six utensil pairs. (This is specifically kids-sized tablewear, but they are selling mama-sized stuff now, as well!)
The tablewear is sturdy, solid, and BPA Free. It is also microwave and dishwasher safe, which is a MUST for this mama! With my little maniac, our plates get thrown, stepped on... bowls get worn for hats- we need high-quality products that can take a beating. These live up to the challenge! In fact, as I type this, my son is drumming on the bottom of one of the bowls (mandarin oranges dumped on the floor) with the fork. He's happy.
If you're looking for a great product with a great mission.. feel good about buying Re-Play!
I received this product in exchange for reviews but all opinions are my own. These bottles are amazing for breastfed babies transitioning to the bottle. Their breast-like design gives my baby a familiar shape to feed from with a slow-flow nipple that also mimics nursing. The bottle is lightweight and easy to hold and comes in a 1 pack or 3 pack in a pretty teal or gray color. Here’s my opinions on this bottle:
PROS: nicely designed to mimic nursing; easy to grasp; comes with a breast pump adapter for you to pump directly into the bottle (also able to use with certain other pump brands); very easy to clean; thaws and cools milk twice as fast as other bottles reducing bacterial growth; preserves breastmilk nutrients better; seals easily for storage with the provided lid and takes up very little space; my baby easily goes back to the breast without confusion; my baby actually LIKES this bottle; holds 5 oz just like most of the other bottles we’ve tried; bottles are stackable so you can track pumping order (AWESOME!)
CONS: The only negative is that due to the design, sometimes it is difficult for my baby to sit upright and eat (which she prefers). We have to lay her flat for the milk to come out properly, but this isn’t a dealbreaker. I could, however, see this being an issue with babies that have reflux.
Overall, I highly recommend this bottle to nursing and pumping moms that want to avoid nipple confusion and utilize an all-in-one bottle that stores milk, thaws and warms quickly, and feeds your baby the next best way when you can’t nurse.
I received this product in exchange for reviews but all opinions are my own. This bottle looks simple but is very unique and practical for moms on the go. It has separate compartments for formula and water making it much easier to feed your baby when it’s actually hungry instead of rushing to save the formula (hey...its expensive) or trying to heat it up because it’s been on ice in a cooler. You simply press the buttons to pop and release the water (all one-handed so you can even hold your baby at the same time), shake a few times, and voila you’re ready to feed your little one! I love how durable these bottles are, and I love the wide nipples that allow for easy transitioning from breast to bottle. It’s made of all safe products and with only 5 parts, it’s easy to clean even without a bottle brush. The funnel prevents contamination and the formula stays fresh until it’s ready to be used. My favorite part about this bottle is that it DOESN’T LEAK!! Most other bottles leak when you unscrew the top or bottom or through the nipple, but this bottle held its own and never got messy! You can even use breastmilk in these bottles as well. This is such a great buy for busy moms on the go or for parents with babies in daycare/another caregiver.
I received this product in exchange for reviews but all opinions are my own. While bottles are one of those trial and error products for many babies, when a bottle has over 2,500 rave reviews among parents on Amazon, we take notice. Upon receiving the product, I loved the modern look of the bottle. This might just be my preference, but I think they are trendier and look more chic. It’s comprised of a nice silicone that makes it easy for my baby to grip and is completely safe as it is BPA, PVC, and Phthalate free. Now, on to what I love about these bottles! The bottles take the shape of an actual breast with a wide mound and natural nipple shape so your baby can easily go back and forth between bottle and nursing with no problems. Also, it has two anti-colic vents on either side to make sure the air in the bottle is circulating well in order to prevent gas, reflux, spit ups, and colic. This is hands-down one the easiest bottles to clean due to its innovative design. The wide neck allows for you to clean by hand and really get inside to reach all crevices without the use of a bottle brush. It can easily be sanitized in hot water, thrown in the dishwasher or sterilizer (it fits in our Avent Sterilizer perfectly) and is microwave safe. I love that these come with different flow nipples depending on your baby’s age for slow, medium, and fast flow. (This particular one came with a medium flow 3-6 month nipple). I was a little hesitant about this bottle due to some reviews stating the bottle leaked, but this has not been the case for us at all. Quite the opposite...we have used other name brands that have leaked when tipped over, but this one holds the breast milk in tight like a vacuum so it doesn’t leak. I can honestly say that the only negatives I found are as followed: the price point and no pump attachment. They do cost more than most other bottles, BUT it is money well spent because my baby loves being able to “squeeze” the milk out herself. The other downside being that it does not directly connect to any breast pumps like some other brands will. This is a time saving step for a lot of moms so this may be an issue. Otherwise, this bottle checks all the marks for us and is my daughter’s new favorite.
